For the documentary ‘Varkenshuis’ I was commissioned to make the title sequences. This film is about a pair of pigs who were looked after by locals in several cities in the Netherlands as part of a research project. At the end of the year the pigs were slaughtered. In the title sequence I want to show the beginning and the and of the project. The typography changes from lively hand-drawn characters to straight lines, symbolizing live and death.
